Pounce for ClaudeUse Pounce inside Claude

Pounce for Claude adds South Africa’s businesses, buying signals, open tenders and your own leads to Claude as a custom connector, so you can ask for them in plain words.

Set it up

Custom connectors work on Claude’s Free (one connector), Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise plans; on Team and Enterprise an owner adds the connector first.

  1. Make the key in Pounce: Settings, API keys (Growth and Agency plans). Treat it like a password.

  2. In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors, choose Add and then Add custom connector.

  3. Name it Pounce and paste your private connector address:

    https://app.pounce.co.za/mcp/YOUR_KEY
  4. For sign-in choose No sign in (the key is in the address). Or use the plain address with a request header: Authorization: Bearer YOUR_KEY.

  5. Choose Add, then switch Pounce on in a chat’s tools menu.

Check it works

Ask Claude: “Use Pounce to show my plan and usage.” It should answer with your plan.

Then ask for what you need

  • “Find steel fabricators in Ekurhuleni with a website”
  • “Open the full record for the third one”
  • “Which construction companies in KwaZulu-Natal won contracts this month?”
  • “Show my ten best leads and why each fits”
  • “Which cleaning tenders close this week in Gauteng?”
  • “Here are my 20 customers: which of them had news lately?”
  • “Draft an email to that contractor about our plant hire”
  • “How many export rows have I used this month?”

The MCP server and the API come with the Growth and Agency plans. Each business returned with its contacts uses one export row, as a CSV row does.
